美國歌手賽琳娜（Selena Gomez）和小賈斯汀（Justin Bieber）的戀情分分合合，讓人霧裡看花，直到2014年正式分手，同年11月釋出新歌《The Heart Wants What it Wants》訴說和小賈的坎坷戀情，而男方在2015年也將出新單曲《What do you mean？》，歌詞內文被指是在回應前女友。
賽琳娜（Selena Gomez）2014年推出新歌《The Heart Wants What it Wants（隨心所欲 ）》，她證實歌詞內文講的就是和小賈斯汀分分合合戀情的心路歷程，歌詞內文提到「There's a million reasons why I should give you up（有一萬個我為什麼要離開你理由）But the heart wants what it wants（但我的心卻是不受控制的渴望著）」真誠的內容讓粉絲聽得心碎，甚至獲得「迪士尼電台音樂獎最佳分手歌曲」。
